A friend of mine was from Shri Lanka and she wore the most beautiful silk saris. As her pregnancy progressed I asked if I could photograph her with her beautiful little girl. While I was taking their picture, the little girl became very serious and I could tell she was wondering how her life was going to change once her brother came into the world.
