About the CountryBoy’s Struggle:
Written and starring Maxwell Golden, who plays over 40 characters in this tour-de-force performance, the series explores the tensions between what is meant by ‘rural’ and ‘urban’ and attempts to create a bridge between these two worlds.
In 2011, CountryBoy’s Struggle toured to both rural communities and theatre studios across the UK, with rave reviews from schools, colleges, theatres and village halls.
